1.at the most 最多
We have 40 hours at work at the most each week.
我們每周至多工作四十小時(shí)。
2.at the price of 以……的價(jià)格
【例句】
①I don't want to succeed at the price of losing part of myself. 我不想委屈求全。
②I bought a pair of shoes at the price of twenty yuan yesterday. 我昨天花費(fèi)20元買一雙鞋。
【總結(jié)】at the price of 通常用于表示買賣的動(dòng)作的句子中。
【拓展】at a price 以高于市面的價(jià)格,以很高的代價(jià)，in price 價(jià)格，with the price 明碼標(biāo)價(jià)(通常表示一種狀態(tài)，不常用)
3.at the risk of 冒著……的危險(xiǎn)
【例句】He is at the risk of failing because of his low scores. 他因?yàn)榈头侄胁缓细竦奈ｋU(xiǎn)。
【拓展】take the risk of doing 冒著……的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)
e.g.You will take the risk of cutting your feet if you don't wear shoes.
如果你不穿鞋子，就會(huì)有把腳割破的危險(xiǎn)。
at risk 處于危險(xiǎn)中
e.g. The whole future of the company is at risk.
公司的整個(gè)前途受到威脅。
risk doing 冒著某事的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)
risk getting caught in a storm 冒遭遇風(fēng)暴之險(xiǎn)
risk being done 冒著被……的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，不同的只是被動(dòng)關(guān)系
4.at the same time 同時(shí)
【例句】The colors were at once Bold and lovely at the same time. 色彩同時(shí)是既顯眼且美麗的。
【拓展】in the same time 一樣的時(shí)間
at the same time as 在……的同時(shí)
5.at the sight of 看見
【例句】She turned mazy in horror at the sight of so much blood. 她一看見這么多血就立刻嚇得轉(zhuǎn)過臉去。
【拓展】at first sight 一開始 乍一看
at the sight of 一看見……就
catch/get/have (lose)sight of 看見 發(fā)現(xiàn)
in/within (out of) sight 在視線內(nèi)(外)
